Clean and Pure From Nexxus

I'm loving Nexxus Clean & Pure scalp scrub. As many of you know I have an obsession with my long thick red hair. Finding the best products for my hair is always on my mind. My hair color is natural so I want to find products that bring out the natural red in my hair make it shiny and smooth and healthy. When I first tried the clean and pure scalp scrub I was kind of skeptical, it didn't think it would make any difference but I was wrong. It has the consistency of like a lip scrub like that gritty sand type of feeling and it smells amazing. It's like a detox mask but for your hair, it's also proteinfusion, and great for normal to dry to oily hair. I honestly thought it would leave the top of my hair oily but it didn't at all! When I put it into my hair the first time I struggles trying to get it into my scalp because my hair is so thick. I spent 20 minutes at least working it into my scalp my hands were starting to cramp it took so long to get onto my scalp. After realizing how hard it was to get it onto my scalp I figured out a way to make it easier by flipping my head upside down it allowed me to apply the product easier and took about 7 Minutes compared to the 20 minutes. I allowed to sit in my head for about 3 minutes and then I rent it out just like you would any other shampoo or conditioner. When I rinsed it out for the first time I couldn't believe how healthy my hair felt. The product had stripped out all the nasty products I've used in my hair and made my scalp feel amazing. I love this product I really do and I want to keep using it once this container is gone. I thought it would be expensive but it's only $14.99 which is great. HOLIDAY CARDS

It's the time of year again, the time of year you actual write out a card, a holiday card to send to your friends and family. Some people include family pictures in their cards, others include a gift card/money, and some like myself dont include anything but a hand written message. It seems Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only times people really send out any type of hand written note. Everyone uses text messages, e cards, or emails but the holidays are a special time and with that you want to send a special card. This year I will be sending my friends and family these beautiful cards to wish them a happy holiday and let them know how much I love them and miss them. Valentines craft idea to make with kids or an adult get together

So a few days ago I seen this at the store and the Carrington said he wanted one. I told him we would make our own. So we got everything we needed and made it. It was very easy to make, the kids enjoyed helping, and this would make a great Valentine's gift for a teacher bus driver grandparent friend or just to hang on your own door like we need. I want to share how to make your own in case you would like to make one yourself and you can put whatever you want as the saying. Maybe your last name, teachers name, whatever you would like. What You Will Need *All you need is wood hearts for each letter of the word you want *the color paints you want, we used red, white, and pink *red ribbon or the color ribbon of your choice *staple gun and staples *hot glue gun *letter stencils or you could use those peel on letters to make it a little bit easier to make it a little bit easier *glitter if you paint your letters on *Painters tape *paint stamps You will paint each heart the color of your choice we painted ours red. Once dry you can decorate the hearts using paint stamps, free style, or just keep them a plain color. Once the decorating is done and dry you can use the stencils to paint on the letters in white or the color of your choice and put glitter on the wet paint or you can use the peel on letters and put glitter around them if you would like. Once all the hearts are complete you will assemble them you will put them in the order you need them spacing them about an inch part. Once all letters are in order and spaced flip them over and run the ribbon down the back putting at least 2 staples over the ribbon on each heart. Make sure to leave a few extra inches at the top for your loop to hang. You can then place a bow at the top using a hot glue gun. New Years Resolutions

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope 2017 has been treating you wonderfully so far. I'm sure many of you like myself have made a New Years resolution, mine is to put more time and effort into this blog as well as a few of my other social media pages. I've worked hard over the last almost 2 years trying to go somewhere with social media and a few months ago all the long hours being on social media finally paid off when a well known brand contacted me to work 39th them. I had spent many hours on facebook, instagram, google+ and pissing my husband off because I was always in front of a device to get to that point but it finally happened and I was thrilled.I finally accomplished something I'd worked so hard for and I thought things were going to take off, boy was I wrong. After working with this brand I thought I would get contacted by other big brands but that didnt happen. While working with this brand I kinda neglected what I was doing to get to that point I was so caught up in working with this Brand I wasn't posting like I used to or interacting with followers. Once I was done the assignment I realized I'd lost some followers and I hadn't even gained any on other platforms. That's when I realized that no matter how good I'm doing I still have to keep pushing and working hard. That's why my New Years resolution is to put more time and effort into this blog. I'm going to start posting at least twice a week and I'll have a theme for each month. I always have a giveaway coming and I think you guys will enjoy it. If you have a News Years resolution in place just keep pushing at it don't give up. Even if it is to go to the gym everyday and you find yourself not going at all go once a week just don't give up. You will feel so much better if you accomplish the goal you set for yourself. Even help your friends reach their goal. If you have a friend that said this year I'm going to stop smoking, encourage them support them don't know if you see them smoking or say a smart-ass comment say something supportive letting them know you're there to help you want to see them succeed. Remember to always smile you never know who's day you will make just by giving them a smile. 😃

Tips on how to have a safe and happy holiday

So your getting ready for the holidays, shopping, decorating the house, and probably baking if your anything like me. Well there's a few things you want to remember this holiday season to keep your family safe, your money safe, and your house safe. Let's start with shopping. I know many many people do a lot of online shopping so that means using debit and credit cards online and the chance for scams as well as home deliveries. When making a purchase online Make sure your using a verified site so if something was to happen you will have some type of backing from the company. For example Amazon is very trusted but there are many reports of third party sellers scamming money from consumers. If you come across an item that's sold by a third party seller most likely Amazon sells it as well. You always want to try and look for the sold and shipped by Amazon. That way you know for sure you will receive your package. There are third party sellers asking that the buyer email the seller first before purchasing an item. Then the seller ask the buyer to purchase Amazon gift cards, if you see that STAY AWAY! It's a big scam going on and these so called third party sellers are taking hard earned money from people just like you and me. Also never safe your credit or debit card information on a site. Many times after putting your credit card information on a site to purchase something it will ask do you want to save your information to make it easier for your next purchase. Also click no this time of year many hackers are online waiting and watching for a chance to take your money. Many of us are having packages shipped to our front door and this is the biggest problem all over the world. There are people just driving around looking for packages sitting on our porches or door steps. Some of these pack thieves will go as far as to watching and learning your schedule so they know when nobody is home so they can,come in take your stuff and leave. Ways to avoid having your packages stolen are making sure your packages can only be delivered if someone in your house signs for it, contacting the company your ordered from telling them where you want your package delivered at your house. For example if you have a back door that can't be seen from the front of your house ask that all packages be delivered to the back door or you could purchase some type if box like a storage box that's not clear sit it on your porche and put a blank it over it and tell your delivery man that's where you want your packages put. If the packages aren't in site Then most likely nobody is going to look. If your put shopping in the stores keep your purse close to your body never just alone it to sit in the cart and don't leave it in the car insight it's best to put anything of value in your trunk again out of sight out of mind. If you are shopping at night and alone be sure to park under a well-lit area. Keep your phone in hand while walking to your car as well if you see something suspicious turn around and walk back to the store. If you see a piece of paper on your windshield or your back window don't get it leave it on your car and just drive away. Decorating & baking it's always so much fun but can also be deadly. I know there are many of us out there that love a real Christmas tree but Christmas tree fires are the many cause for house fires during the holiday season. Be sure you keep your tree well watered. Check all your tree lights and make sure they are all in working order before putting them on the tree overloading a power circuit try to plug your lights in two different sockets you don't want to have all your lights plugged into one socket or extension cord this can spark a fire as well now I'm a big Baker especially on the holidays I love making cookies holiday cookies are my favorite decorating them with my kids is one of our traditions but things can get busy while baking you always want to remember to watch what's in your stove or oven I always set a timer because if I didn't my cookies would burn and I could end up with a fire when the timer goes off I go straight to the kitchen if you like a deep fried turkey like me then I'm sure there's going to be plenty of people making this delicious fried turkeys like me this holiday season making a fried turkey is dangerous make sure you take all the proper precautions when making your turkey in the deep fryer I always suggest allowing your turkey to get to room temperature because adding anything very cold into hot grease can cause it to boil over. Oh yeahvi forgot candles I know we all love the smell of those holiday candles are just making our house smell good just remember to blow your candles out at night or if you're leaving the house remember to blow them out I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season.
